        <p>In recent years, special attention of researchers has been paid to the development of thermoplastic polymers, which have broad prospects for use in various industries. An example is polyethylene terephthalate, which is widely used in the design of key elements of equipment in the baking industry. This polymer has a higher load-bearing capacity and precision during dry sliding than metal elements, which opens up broad prospects for its use in food industry equipment. To further improve the properties and select the parameters of thermoplastic polymers when used in specific applications, theoretical approaches are needed to describe and predict the mechanical properties of these materials. This work proposes a theoretical model to describe the important mechanical properties &#x2013; storage modulus G' and loss modulus G&#xBB; of thermoplastic polymers depending on the structural and molecular characteristics of these materials</p>
